How to use your smartphone to produce videos for social media
This two hour virtual workshop is specifically aimed at beginners who want to become more confident in filming themselves, their products or their services for social media in order to show off their business online.
You will learn about how to use and set your camera settings, top tips we all forget about, what inexpensive basic equipment will give you a more professional look, basic filming skills including framing, depth and backgrounds, how to use light and sound and what formats and video lengths work best.
This workshop is specifically targeted at iPhone users but many of the skills are replicable across different makes of phone.

It teaches you the basics so that you feel more comfortable and confident in front of and behind the camera. Giving you the creativity and skills to make your own video posts for social media, no matter the platform you use.

About your Trainer
Helen Hyde is an ex BBC and ITV broadcast journalist who founded a media production company in south Gloucestershire three years ago to provide videography services to other small local businesses. She started Hyde Media with just an iPhone and a travel tripod, producing high quality videos for the websites and social media of local clients and still prides herself in being able to use smartphone technology to provide value for money video services.
