Following our first ever Wiltshire Women in Business Big Event at Cleeve House, in June 2018, we now celebrate all things Business Women in… by holding Big Events throughout the year.

Our winning formula is stunningly simple:

  • Always hold our events somewhere fabulous
  • Have free-flowing tea and coffee on tap
  • Provide a delicious lunch
  • Have the most talented and inspiring speakers

If that isn’t fantastic enough, there’s always plenty of time throughout the day to meet likeminded business women, network, establish business relationships, forge lasting friendships and, of course, have lots of fun!

The Christmas Big Event

We are super-excited to announce that our Christmas Big Event will be on Tuesday December 10th at the (aptly named) Angel Hotel in Chippenham.

Following the success of previous Big Events, we have arranged a similar day filled with quality guest speakers, a delicious lunch and plenty of opportunities to network

.

About the Day

With free WiFi, parking and tinsel thrown in, it promises to be another fantastic event and an opportunity to dig out that little festive number!

There are still one or two things to iron out but our Business Women in… Big Event should look something like this:

Use this as an opportunity to grab a cuppa, say hello to your fellow business women, brush up on your networking skills and check out the event stalls.

‘What Do I Do Now?’ Business Planning without the Overwhelm.

How do you feel about your To Do List? Do you love the focus it brings or do you dread looking at it and fear you’ll never get to the bottom? Do you even have a To Do List? How many ideas do you have for your business? So many that you literally don’t know which to work on next? It’s easy to be so overwhelmed by all the ideas available that you never quite get going with the big ideas and all the little day-to-day tasks fill your time. They feel productive but may not be taking your business forward to achieve its real potential. Let me share with you a framework that will give you a plan covering everything you need to do – but without the overwhelm.

Frances has worked within, and with, international corporations and small businesses on everything from global programmes in the technology sector to a small manufacturing business in the South West. Having always had an interest in personal development, she now provides coaching, training, writing and support to business owners, directors and managers in the UK and Europe. Frances is a Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management, Fellow of the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning and volunteer Leadership and Management Trainer for The Scout Association.

Lovely to meet so many great women, all pulling in the same direction and supporting each other. It was informative, well structured and organised with great speakers. Thank you team WWIB.

Although I was out of my comfort zone, I felt like I already knew the group and it didn’t take long at all to get merrily chatting away. Thank you to all I met for sharing your stories. I either met similar like-minded ladies or thoughtful & inspirational ones.

My brain is buzzing with loads of ideas about my business and how I can better get myself ‘out there’. I felt a real sense of community and mutual support. The speakers were fantastic and provided so much to think about. Great day!
