How to protect your organisation from cyber crime

Cyber Crime can impact any business in any sector. The Cyber Breaches Survey 2021 highlighted that 40% of businesses and a quarter of charities reported an attack in the last 12 months. However, there are simple steps you can take to prevent attacks such as phishing, account take-over and malware and keeping your business safer online.

This is a free live workshop run by the Southwest Regional Cyber Crime Unit. A non-technical presentation full of nationally recognised Cyber Security advice which can be applied both at work and at home. Using case studies and videos this session aims to highlight the importance of Cyber Security and the simple, effective steps you can take to reduce the impact that Cyber Crime can have both on you and your organisation.

Topics to be covered:

  • What is Cyber Crime and how do law enforcement tackle it?
  • Cultures and Attitudes towards Cyber Security
  • Securing Account
  • Remote Working
