Oxford Online Meet Up
May 15 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm£10
Come along to the Business Women in, BWi Meet Up, in Oxford. The ideal opportunity to develop business relationships, find collaborators and forge lasting friendships – all in an informal setting.
It all starts at 10:00 am every third Friday of the month, with a cuppa. Then take a seat for the introductions; the perfect opportunity to introduce yourself, and your business, to the group. Please note this is optional, so if you are not ready to talk in front of a group, there’s no judgement whatsoever if you decide to opt-out.
After the introductions, it’s informal networking time – this is where we can have a chat (and grab another cuppa), get to know each other and start building relationships.
Our Meet Up looks like this:
10:00 am – Arrivals, grab a cuppa and a seat
10:10 am – Welcome and introductions
11:15 am – Informal networking and 1 to 1’s
11:45 am – BWi updates
12:00 pm – Goodbyes

Introducing and working with new technology, or a change in procedures can be daunting for some, but with the right guidance, support and resources, staff on all levels can learn how to embrace and work with new systems and procedures. We have developed the ability to learn and understand software solutions quickly and thoroughly, which enables us to explain technical information and train new processes clearly and patiently, so that everyone can learn quickly and confidently. We can breakdown complex system workflows to train in an easy to understand format, or even identify where improvements can be made to simplify, streamline or clarify processes for the users. Experienced in developing and delivery of classroom training, one-to-one training, eLearning and webinars. We also write training materials and supporting documents as user guides and workflow checklists, as well as script and producing online tutorials. Our offering will expand early in 2020 as we add training in other areas such as presenting, media skills and business processes.
Probably the biggest Barry Manilow fan you will ever meet! I have always had passion for Music and Theatre and alongside my work with Picus Solutions I am an actor and vocalist. During 2019 I discovered a love of the gym, thanks to my PT for functional training, Olympic lifting and CrossFit. I also appreciate gin, wine, coffee and most foods and enjoy being with friends. I am a volunteer educational speaker with the Blue Cross and I go into schools and youth groups with my dog Alfie to talk to children on a variety of animal and pet related topics.
